We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Match bank statements with general ledgers to identify discrepancies and prevent financial errors.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in line with regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage cash flow, monitor expenditures, and recommend cost-control measures.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to guide strategic decision-making.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
• Contribute to the development of financial strategies that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
• Establish and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with the external financial community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, ICAN, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Customer Service Orientation/Client Focus (Internal and External).

Remuneration
N450,000 net per month.
