Job Title: Lead / Senior Petroleum Engineer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for petroleum engineering activities across exploration and production operations.
- Conduct reservoir performance analysis and recommend strategies to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Plan, monitor, and evaluate drilling, completion, and production activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance operational efficiency and asset performance.
- Perform production forecasting, reserves estimation, and economic evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare technical reports and provide engineering recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
- Relevant professional certification and membership of recognized professional bodies will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in petroleum engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Sound knowledge of reservoir engineering, drilling, production operations, and petroleum economics.
- Proficiency in relevant petroleum engineering software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
