Job Summary
- The Projects / Installation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery and installation of projects by planning installation schedules, ensuring site readiness, supervising installation teams, and managing client and contractor relationships throughout project execution.
- The role involves monitoring project progress, resolving site issues, managing snag lists, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within quality standards, and to client satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong project coordination, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple installation projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate installation schedules in line with production timelines.
- Verify site readiness before dispatching installation teams, ensuring access, power supply, storage, and site conditions meet project requirements.
- Coordinate and supervise installer teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and site representatives on installation-related matters.
- Monitor project progress, prepare daily site reports, and escalate issues where necessary.
- Identify, document, and coordinate the resolution of snags and defects.
- Conduct project handovers and obtain client sign-off upon successful completion.
- Ensure all installations comply with company quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years' experience coordinating furniture, joinery, interior fit-out, or construction installation projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
- Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools is an added advantage.
Remuneration
N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
