Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
• In this role, you will conduct patrols, monitor surveillance systems, respond to incidents, and report unusual activity in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises to deter unauthorized activity and maintain security.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, entrances, and exits.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and suspicious behavior.
• Write clear reports detailing daily activity, incidents, and irregularities.
• Enforce site rules, safety procedures, and access control policies.
• Assist visitors, employees, and emergency personnel as needed.jobs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or related experience is a plus.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain alert and respond calmly in stressful situations.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security license or certification, if required in your area.
• CPR, first aid, or emergency response training.
• Experience with CCTV, access control, or incident reporting systems.
