Job Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth.
- The ideal candidate will have experience selling B2B technology solutions, a strong understanding of software development services, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships with clients across various industries.
- As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for expanding the company's client base, managing the sales pipeline, and collaborating with technical and delivery teams to ensure client needs are translated into successful software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, digital channels, industry events, and outbound prospecting.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with software development, product, marketing, and project delivery teams to develop tailored client solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Attend industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the company's services.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company's software solutions, technology offerings, and industry best practices.
- Monitor customer feedback and market developments to identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management, preferably within a software development or technology company.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling custom software development, SaaS solutions, enterprise software, or other technology services.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and technology consulting services.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise sales or technology consulting.
- Existing network of corporate clients or industry contacts.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, AI solutions, cybersecurity, data analytics, or digital transformation services.
- Experience responding to RFPs, preparing commercial proposals, and managing complex sales cycles.
