Job Title: Supply Chain Officer

Location: Abuja

About the Role

• Manage procurement, inventory and logistics activities at the facility to ensure timely, cost‑effective availability of goods, medical supplies and services.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and orders in line with procurement policy and approval limits.
• Source and evaluate vendors; obtain and analyse quotations to ensure value for money.
• Manage inventory of medical and non‑medical supplies, including stock levels, reorder points and expiry monitoring.
• Coordinate receipt, inspection, storage and issuance of goods; maintain accurate stock records.
• Track deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Maintain the vendor database and support vendor performance monitoring.
• Support store management and periodic stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement controls, documentation and audit requirements.
• Coordinate logistics and distribution within the facility.
• Identify cost‑saving and process‑improvement opportunities.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Logistics or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.

Experience:

• 2 - 4 years in procurement, supply chain or inventory management.
• Experience procuring medical and pharmaceutical supplies in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
