Job Title: Supply Chain Management (SCM) Officer
Location: Abuja
About the Role
- Lead and coordinate supply chain strategy and operations across the organisation, ensuring efficient, compliant and cost‑effective procurement, inventory and logistics that support service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement group procurement and supply chain policies, strategies and controls.
- Lead strategic sourcing, vendor selection and contract negotiation for major categories.
- Oversee procurement of medical and non‑medical goods, equipment and services across facilities.
- Coordinate inventory and warehouse management, including medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Manage vendor relationships, performance and supplier risk.
- Drive cost optimisation, value for money and supply‑chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee logistics, distribution and demand planning across facilities.
- Report on procurement savings, spend analytics and supply‑chain performance.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business or a related field; Master’s an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6–8 years in procurement or supply chain, including category or strategic‑sourcing responsibility, with significant experience procuring medical supplies, equipment and pharmaceuticals in a healthcare setting.
