Job Summary

  • Whip-smart Services Provider Limited is seeking a compassionate, mature, and highly organized Training & Development Officer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing newly recruited domestic staff for successful placement by conducting practical training, orientation, and behavioral coaching before deployment to clients' homes.
  • The successful candidate should possess a motherly disposition, excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for mentoring others.
  • This role requires someone who can instill professionalism, proper work ethics, and confidence in domestic staff while ensuring they meet the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct orientation and practical training for newly recruited domestic staff.
  • Teach best practices in housekeeping, childcare, elderly care, cooking, laundry, hygiene, and professional conduct.
  • Assess trainees' readiness for deployment and provide additional coaching where necessary.
  • Guide staff on workplace etiquette, communication skills, personal grooming, and customer service.
  • Identify individual training needs and develop improvement plans.
  • Monitor trainees' attendance, participation, and overall performance during training.
  • Prepare detailed training reports and submit them to management.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure candidates are deployment-ready.
  • Conduct refresher training sessions when required.
  • Support disciplinary counseling and performance improvement initiatives where necessary.
  • Promote the company's values and service standards throughout the training process.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an HND or Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Social Sciences, Home Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in training, coaching, teaching, HR, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with domestic staff, caregivers, hospitality staff, or service personnel is an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to manage groups and engage people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
