Description
- Our client, a reputable Financial Services organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Officer to oversee financial reporting, treasury operations, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proven track record in driving accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reports.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and strengthen financial controls.
- Supervise finance operations and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including experience within a Microfinance Bank, Commercial Bank, FinTech, or Financial Services organization.
- ACA (ICAN) or ACCA qualification is required.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, treasury operations, IFRS, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
