We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Agile Program Delivery Office

About the Role

  • The Head, Agile Program Delivery Office ensures technology initiatives across Polaris Bank are delivered on time, efficiently, and in a way that maximizes business value.
  • This role directs four functions — Agile Program Management, Scrum/Agile Coaching, Portfolio Management, and Performance Metrics — through specialist leads and coaches.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Program Management Oversight:

  • Coordinate delivery across multiple agile teams, managing cross-team dependencies and ensuring program-level alignment
  • Escalate and resolve delivery risks that span multiple teams or initiatives

Scrum/Agile Coaching Oversight:

  • Ensure agile best practices and ceremonies are consistently applied and continuously improved across delivery teams
  • Build organizational agile maturity through coaching and capability-building

Portfolio Management Oversight:

  • Own the technology portfolio prioritization process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and available capacity
  • Ensure resource allocation and capacity planning decisions maximize return on technology investment

Performance Metrics Oversight:

  • Ensure delivery metrics (velocity, quality, throughput) are tracked and reported consistently across teams
  • Use delivery data to drive continuous improvement in program execution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent agile/portfolio certification strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record running agile delivery or PMO functions across multiple concurrent initiatives, ideally in banking or a large enterprise setting

Core Competencies:

  • Agile program and portfolio management (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Coaching and organizational change leadership
  • Financial and capacity planning across a technology portfolio
  • Data-driven performance management

Familiarity With Tools (used by the function's teams):

  • JIRA, JIRA Align, Rally, VersionOne, Miro, Confluence; JIRA Portfolio, LeanKit; Power BI, Tableau, JIRA Analytics.
