Job Title: Strategy Planning Officer
Location: Abuja
About the Role
- Support the development, coordination and monitoring of the organisation’s corporate strategy, ensuring alignment of initiatives, robust performance tracking and informed decision-making at executive level.
Responsibilities
- Support development and refresh of the corporate strategy and annual business plans.
- Conduct market, competitor and industry analysis to inform strategic direction.
- Coordinate the strategy-execution process, translating strategy into initiatives and KPIs.
- Monitor performance against strategic objectives; prepare dashboards and progress reports.
- Facilitate strategy reviews, planning sessions and management retreats.
- Support business cases, feasibility studies and special strategic projects.
- Track industry, regulatory and healthcare trends and their strategic implications.
- Coordinate with departments to align plans and resources to strategy.
- Prepare board- and executive-level strategy presentations.
- Support enterprise performance-management frameworks (e.g., the balanced scorecard).
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Economics, Business, Finance, Sciences, Health Management or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable; MBA or Master’s an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6–8 years in strategy, consulting, corporate planning or business analysis.
- Experience in a healthcare or institutional environment is an advantage.
