Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ajegunle, Olodi Apapa - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Monitor company cash flow, income, and expenses
- Conduct bank, ledger, and account reconciliations
- Ensure accurate tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance records
- Prepare management reports and provide financial insights for decision-making
- Supervise accounting processes and ensure adherence to internal controls
Key Requirements
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years proven accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, receivables, payables, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements
- Strong analytical, organisational, and reporting skills
- Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Must be trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Only candidates residing in Ajegunle, Apapa, and nearby areas will be considered.
