Stockgap Fuels Limited - We are a leading oil and gas company operating in Nigeria’s downstream sector with head office in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
To meet the growing demand of Nigeria’s Market, Stockgap Fuels Limited is expanding its LPG business by investing on additional storage and cylinder filling facility in 4 strategic locations spanning major regions of the country - Lagos/South-West, South-South/South-East, North-Central/North-West and North-East regions respectively.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Loader & Gantry Supervisor

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Purpose

  • To supervise and coordinate all truck loading activities and loader personnel at the gantry.
  • This role ensures timely loading of products in strict compliance with company SOPs and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly lead a team of 10 - 15 truck loaders per shift, conducting pre-shift toolbox talks and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Monitor loading equipment (arms, meters, and seals) to prevent contamination or short loading.
  • Verify documentation, including truck details, compartment numbers, and seals before and after loading.
  • Oversee LPG cylinder handling, ensuring safe loading, lashing, and rejection of damaged cylinders.
  • Maintain gantry housekeeping and promptly report equipment faults to maintenance.

Requirements

  • Education: OND / HND in Sciences, Engineering, or related field (SSCE with 5+ years of experience also considered).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years as a loader or loader lead in a downstream terminal, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Certifications: HSE Level 1-2; First Aid certification is an advantage.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to work in an outdoor, high-risk environment.
