We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor contractors, subcontractors, artisans, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
• Ensure all construction works comply with relevant building codes and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five (5) years' proven experience as a Site Engineer in a real estate and construction company.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering principles, and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
