Roxbury Leisure Homes is a real estate company that majors in constructing affordable housing for the average income earning families in Lagos Nigeria. We engage in constructingaffordable housing that will meet the needs of a wide range of clients. We are working towards becoming one of the largest affordable housing construction companies in Lagos and Nigeria with an active presence in major cities in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: VGC, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the company to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Supervise administrative staff, site personnel, and contractors.
  • Coordinate construction, maintenance, and facility management activities.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed according to approved specifications, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
  • Prepare operational reports and present updates to management.
  • Monitor budgets and control operational costs.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Resolve operational challenges and implement process improvements.
  • Coordinate procurement, logistics, and inventory where necessary.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery across all company operations

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Gmail).
  • Strong administrative, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Practical knowledge of construction and project site operations.
  • Ability to supervise site activities, contractors, and project teams to ensure work is completed according to approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Ability to prepare reports, maintain project records, and coordinate communication between the office and project sites.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and operational standards applicable to construction and estate management projects.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
