We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Inventory Verification Officer
Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Conducting scheduled inventory verification at all branches, warehouses, project sites, and other remote locations.
- Verifying all inventory categories, including Finished Goods, Spare Parts, Raw Materials, and Company Assets.
- Performing both planned and surprise stock counts in accordance with the approved verification schedule.
- Investigating inventory discrepancies and supporting root-cause analysis.
- Preparing comprehensive inventory verification reports, including findings, variances, and recommendations.
- Monitoring compliance with inventory control procedures and recommending process improvements.
- Supporting Management by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory records across all business units.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree / HND in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing, retail, or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in using modern inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory record-keeping, stock tracking, and data entry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze inventory data, interpret trends, and make data-driven decision.
