Job Title: Sonographer / Radiographer

Job Summary
- Oca Consulting is seeking a skilled, compassionate, and highly motivated sonographer/radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including ultrasound examinations and radiographic investigations, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely diagnostic services that support effective patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and other specialized scans as required.
- Conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures, including X-rays and other imaging examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients and operation of imaging equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to radiation protection guidelines and infection prevention protocols.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients, address concerns, and obtain relevant clinical information.
- Prepare and maintain imaging records, reports, and documentation accurately and confidentially.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting faults and coordinating routine servicing when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and timely diagnosis.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, continuing professional development, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in radiography or medical imaging from a recognized institution.
- Additional qualification or certification in diagnostic medical sonography is an added advantage.
- Valid professional license and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated experience in performing both ultrasound and radiographic procedures.
