We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Irepotuntun Bonke Area, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing prescription medications, providing pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering excellent customer and patient care.
• The Pharmacist also oversees inventory management, medication counselling, and supports the organization's commitment to quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Review patients' medication history to ensure safe and effective therapy.
• Compound medications where necessary and in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure the appropriate labelling and packaging of medicines.

Inventory & Stock Management:

• Monitor stock levels and ensure the continuous availability of medicines and pharmaceutical supplies.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for all medications.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and manage stock rotation to prevent expiry.
• Report low stock levels and coordinate procurement of medicines.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure controlled medicines are handled and documented according to regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).

Professional Qualifications:

• Current licence to practise issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Must have 1–3 years' post-qualification experience in a hospital, community, or retail pharmacy.
• Experience with pharmacy management software is an added advantage.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
