Responsibilities
- Create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's educational standards and foster a love for learning
- Cultivate a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and creativity among young learners
- Regularly evaluate and document students' developmental milestones and academic progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians
- Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to share best practices and contribute to the school's collaborative culture
- Maintain open communication with families to support students' educational and personal growth
- Engage in ongoing training and workshops to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with innovative educational practices
Requirements
- Educational Background: A Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Experience: Previous experience in early years education or Montessori setting is preferred
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Creativity and Innovation: Ability to develop engaging, creative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
