We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics / Warehouse Officer

Locations: Kano and Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Logistics/Warehouse Officer will be responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and inventory control of goods while ensuring warehouse efficiency and seamless logistics operations.
  • The role ensures inventory accuracy, proper stock handling, timely deliveries, compliance with safety standards, and effective coordination between warehouse, transportation, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse.
  • Monitor stock movement to prevent losses, damage, or obsolescence.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate stock variances.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and recommend replenishment.
  • Plan and coordinate the timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Schedule deliveries and assign drivers or transport providers.
  • Monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
  • Track shipments and provide delivery status updates.
  • Ensure proper filing and documentation of all warehouse and logistics activities.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Coordinate vehicle loading and unloading.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.
  • Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
  • Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Report accidents, damages, or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Participate in warehouse safety inspections and emergency drills.
  • Recommend process improvements for inventory accuracy and operational productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, logistics, or distribution is preferred.
