Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc is the premier, largest and most profitable, non-aligned Primary Mortgage Bank in Nigeria. Abbey is one of the seven national Primary Mortgage Banks (PMB) licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria and Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN). Role Overview

• The Private Banking Officer will be responsible for managing the financial needs of high-net-worth individuals, providing tailored banking solutions, investment advisory, and wealth management services while maintaining strong, lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Deliver personalized banking and financial advisory services to high-net-worth clients in the public sector
• Build, manage, and grow client relationships through tailored investment and wealth management solutions
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
• Manage client portfolios, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities
• Drive deposit mobilization and contribute to the bank’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private banking or wealth management, preferably with a focus on the public sector
• Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks
• Good understanding of compliance requirements, including AML and KYC protocols.
