We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Metallurgical Engineer
Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor steelmaking processes to achieve production and quality targets.
- Analyze chemical composition and mechanical properties of steel products.
- Investigate metallurgical defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor furnace operations and process parameters.
- Support process optimization and yield improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with metallurgical standards and specifications.
- Prepare technical reports and process documentation.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Production teams to improve product performance.
- Participate in research and development of new steel grades.
- Promote continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Metallurgical or Materials Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Steel Manufacturing or industrial experience is highly preferred.
