We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Builder

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily building and construction activities on assigned project sites.
• Coordinate contractors, artisans, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Ensure all construction works conform to approved drawings and specifications.
• Control material usage and minimize wastage on site.
• Monitor project progress and report any delays or challenges promptly.
• Escalate technical issues and site challenges to the Construction Manager or Construction Project Manager.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures.
• Verify completed works before inspection and sign-off.
• Assist with daily and weekly project reporting and documentation.

• Workmanship quality compliance: 100%
• Material wastage maintained below 5%
• Daily supervision attendance: 100%
• Project progress achievement: ≥95%
• Rework occurrence maintained below 2%
• Contractor/Artisan productivity: ≥90%
• Safety compliance: 100%
• Reporting compliance: 100%

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' practical construction experience.
• Registered Builder with CORBON registration (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Experience supervising artisans, subcontractors, and site activities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
