Job Description

  • We are seeking a qualified, dedicated, and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our clinical team. 
  • The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and evidence-based medical care while supporting clinical operations across various units of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
  • Clerk, assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up on patients.
  • Participate in ward rounds, on-call duties, and emergency care services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records.
  • Collaborate effectively with consultants, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Adhere to clinical governance, patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement standards.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full registration and a valid practicing licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
