We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Channel Accounting Executive

About the Role

• The job purpose is to ensure that the Finance function of supporting the Sales Ordering Process (SOP) is carried out efficiently and effectively. 

Responsibilities
Sales Ordering support:

• Ensure that all Channel Partners’ orders awaiting Finance’s override are processed promptly by following up with ACE Billing Team.
• Ensure no bad debt to Airtel arising from credit utilization.
• Ensure no debit balance for Cash Channel Partners.

Daily Reporting:

• Ensure daily Channel Partners’ overdue report tracking.
• Monitor daily credit limits utilization.
• Daily tracking of the CPs BG expiration / validity.
• Daily ERC shop Vs Pretups Reconciliation.

Book-Keeping and Hygiene:

• Ensure that Channel Partners’ statements of accounts are reconciled daily to militate against risk to Airtel.
• Daily Tracking of Stock Transfer/Return for all Airtel Stock are process within agreed control.

Finance Month-end activities & Ad-hoc functions:

• Involved in Finance’s month end book closure activities. 
• Carry out other ad-hoc functions that may be assigned.

Educational Qualifications  

• University Degree in Accounting or related disciplines
• ACA is an added advantage.

Relevant Experience & Functional / Technical Skills:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
• Adept user of accounting packages; Sage Line 500 and Oracle ERP
• Good Communication (Oral & Written) and Inter-personal skills
• Good numerate and Analytical skills
• Spontaneous and logical.
