We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Design Architect

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a talented and driven Architect with 5 to 8 years of professional experience, including a strong background within a leading architectural firm.
  • In this position, you will take ownership of project design development, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage day-to-day project delivery from concept through to construction documentation.
  • Professional licensing is highly valued, but not a strict prerequisite for application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Development: Translate initial concepts into detailed, high-quality architectural designs and comprehensive construction drawings.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate daily tasks across project phases, ensuring timelines and deliverable milestones are met.
  • Consultant Integration: Work closely with structural, MEP, and external engineering consultants to integrate systems seamlessly into the architectural design.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare documentation for submission to municipal authorities, ensuring adherence to Nigerian building codes and zoning laws.
  • Client Liaison: Assist in presenting design proposals to clients and act as a reliable point of contact for routine project inquiries.
  • Team Collaboration: Guide and review the work of junior architects, interns, and architectural drafters on the project team.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and assist in resolving field issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven architectural experience, with a solid background in a reputable or top-tier firm.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level capabilities in BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, and advanced 3D rendering or visualization tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction materials, local construction methods, and detailing.
  • Licensure & Affiliation (Preferred): Active registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and/or membership with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is highly preferred and considered an asset
