Job Title: Senior Project Accountant / Finance Manager – Engineering & Construction
Location: Lagos
Summary
- We are seeking accomplished finance professionals with extensive leadership experience to drive financial performance, governance, and strategic decision-making across our business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgeting, costing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Monitor project profitability and cost controls.
- Partner with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors.
- Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory reporting.
- Supervise and develop project accounting teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in construction or engineering project accounting.
- Strong knowledge of contract accounting and percentage-of-completion reporting.
- Excellent financial analysis and project control skills.
- ICAN, ACCA, or ACA qualification is mandatory.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and the Nigerian tax and regulatory environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven organization.
