Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly experienced Station Manager to lead the execution of large-scale pipeline and terminal station construction projects within the oil and gas sector.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, operational excellence, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the execution of station construction projects from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning activities to achieve project objectives.
- Manage interfaces with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, industry codes, and applicable standards.
- Drive the achievement of project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and profitability targets.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks, delays, and cost overruns.
- Ensure effective coordination between engineering, procurement, planning, construction, and HSE teams.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support successful project delivery and future business opportunities.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide accurate project reporting and performance updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 20 years' experience managing large-scale oil and gas construction projects.
- Proven experience delivering pipeline terminal stations or gas station construction projects from concept through commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of project controls, contract administration, cost management, and project planning.
- Professional certifications such as COREN, PMP, PRINCE2, NEBOSH, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
