Job Summary
- As an Agricultural Science Teacher you willeducatestudents on fundamental principles of farming, food production, and natural resource management.
- You will blend theoretical classroom instruction in areas like soil science and animal husbandry with practical, hands-on laboratory or school farm experiments.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans covering agronomy, livestock management, agricultural economics, and environmental sustainability.
- Practical Training: Supervise school laboratories, gardens, or farms to provide students with hands-on experience in modern and sustainable farming practices.
- Student Assessment: Design tests, evaluate student progress, and prepare students for standardized external examinations (e.g., WASSCE, IGCSE, or UTME).
- Leadership & Extracurriculars: Coach students in youth leadership programs like the FFA (Future Farmers of America) or coordinate agricultural clubs and field trips.
