Description
- As a Chemistry Teacher you willdesignand deliverengaging science lessons, blending theoretical concepts with practical lab experiments.
- Responsibilities include managing laboratory safety, developing syllabi, grading assessments, and tracking student progress toward exams like WAEC, NECO, or the IGCSE.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning: Create and deliver structured chemistry curricula tailored to different learning levels and specific examination boards.
- Laboratory Management: Oversee and conduct safe, interactive experiments. This requires preparing chemical reagents, maintaining equipment, and strictly enforcing lab safety protocols.
- Student Assessment: Design exams, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student comprehension, providing constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management: Maintain an orderly, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Administrative Duties: Update student records, attend faculty meetings, and participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss academic progress.
