We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Laboratory Coordinator
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Monitors lab expenses relative to budget
- Monitor lab equipment performance and usage
- Coordinate facility maintenance for large projects
- Manage the chemical inventory compliance requirements for the labs
- Maintain and ensure sample chain of custody using a LIMS system and perform all aspects of sample management including receipt, aliquotting, storage, and shipping
- Lead procurement efforts of laboratory consumables, equipment, and other supplies as needed
- Maintain updated and accurate records of all laboratory orders
- Notify staff of order status and receipt of goods
- Follow up on backordered items and find alternate item replacements/vendors as needed based on price and availability
- Work with laboratory assistant to update and maintain master inventory list
Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
