Job Title: Travel Operations Executive

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Travel Operations Executive to join our growing team.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong background in travel operations within an IATA-accredited travel agency or reputable travel management company and possess excellent knowledge of airline reservations, ticketing, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle domestic and international flight reservations, ticketing, reissues, refunds, and exchanges.
• Prepare accurate travel quotations and professionally curated itineraries.
• Coordinate hotel reservations, airport transfers, travel insurance, and other travel services.
• Process and follow up on visa applications and travel documentation.
• Liaise with airlines, hotels, embassies, consolidators, and other travel partners.
• Ensure all travel bookings are processed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Resolve travel-related issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate booking records and operational reports.
• Deliver exceptional support to both corporate and leisure travel clients.
• Stay up to date with airline policies, fare rules, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in any relevant discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an IATA-accredited travel agency or reputable travel management company.
• Proficiency in Amadeus GDS is mandatory. Experience with Sabre GDS will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of airline fares, ticketing, reissues, refunds, exchanges, and routing.
• Good understanding of visa processes and international travel requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
