Job Description

  • We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Officer to join our team in Apapa.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing end-user technical support, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues promptly.
  • Support user account administration, email configuration, and access management.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance and security.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support requests, and resolutions.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization's IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years' proven experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, LAN/WAN, VPN, and basic cybersecurity practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
