Job Title: Experienced Caregiver & Nursing Assistant For Home Care

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

• We are seeking experienced Caregivers and Nursing Assistants to provide quality home-based care to elderly clients, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, people living with disabilities, and clients requiring long-term assistance with daily living.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding).
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour.
• Record and maintain accurate daily care notes.
• Assist with medication reminders (where applicable).
• Prepare light meals according to clients' dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments when required.
• Follow each client's individualized care plan.
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control protocols.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for clients at all times.

Requirements

• 1–2 years' experience as a caregiver, nursing assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker.
• Healthcare-related training or certification is an added advantage.
• Experience caring for elderly clients, stroke patients, dementia patients, post-operative patients, or individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable.
• Physically fit and able to assist clients safely.
• Excellent interpersonal and observation skills.
• Willingness to work live-in, live-out, day, night, weekend, or rotational shifts as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing Assistant Certificate, Caregiver Training Certificate, Community Health qualification, or other healthcare certification.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification (an advantage).
• Experience with home care services is highly desirable.

Salary
N60,000 - N120,000 per month.
