Job Title: Engineering Lead

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Engineering Lead will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering engineering activities across the company's oil and gas operations, including Concept Design, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and Detailed Engineering Design (DED).
• The successful candidate will ensure engineering deliverables are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with Nigerian regulatory requirements and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy and planning for capital projects.
• Manage the complete engineering lifecycle from concept selection through FEED, detailed engineering, and as-built documentation.
• Provide technical leadership across process, mechanical, piping, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO standards and Nigerian regulatory requirements.
• Lead engineering design reviews, technical assurance, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and constructability reviews.
• Develop and manage engineering budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor engineering costs, evaluate change requests, and control project variations.
• Manage engineering contractors, consultants, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Local Content requirements.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) culture.
• Interface with regulators, joint venture partners, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Identify and manage engineering risks while driving governance and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and value optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Master's Degree will be an added advantage).
• Minimum of 12 years' relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years' experience in an Engineering Lead or similar leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design, project delivery, asset integrity, and capital project management.
• Excellent understanding of Nigerian oil and gas regulations and international engineering standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 Monthly.
