Job Title: Capital Projects Delivery Lead

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

• The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of surface facility capital projects, including pipelines, processing plants, gas conditioning, produced water treatment, and waste management systems.
• The role requires strong leadership in project execution from concept through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with corporate objectives, Nigerian regulatory requirements, and international industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement capital project execution strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle from concept selection through FEED, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Lead the delivery of surface facility projects while ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and HSSE requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations interfaces.
• Manage EPC/PCIC contractors and ensure contractual performance.
• Oversee construction, installation, mechanical completion, commissioning, and operational handover activities.
• Develop and manage CAPEX budgets, project schedules, and resource plans.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, risks, and change management processes.
• Lead contractor prequalification, bid evaluation, procurement, and contract administration.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Local Content requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
• Interface with regulators, joint venture partners, contractors, host communities, and other key stakeholders.
• Promote a strong Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) culture across all project activities.
• Identify and manage technical, commercial, operational, and regulatory risks.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Master's Degree and Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years' experience leading major capital projects within the upstream or midstream oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project delivery activities.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian oil and gas regulations, project governance, contract management, and HSSE standards.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.

Salary
N800,000 - N900,000 monthly
