Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Power

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

• The Head of Power will provide strategic, technical, operational, and financial leadership for the company’s Power as a Service (PaaS) business.
• The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of power strategies, optimize energy costs, improve asset performance, drive commercial profitability, and deliver innovative energy solutions that support long-term business sustainability.
• Working closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Regional Power teams, this role is critical in strengthening financial performance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business Management (Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business management
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical or power engineering within the telecommunications industry
• Demonstrated experience managing Power as a Service (PaaS) or similar energy solutions
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with experience managing business performance and profitability
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
