We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Panel Beater & Vulcanizer

Locations: Lagos, Ogun and Oyo
Employment Type: Full - time

Key Responsibilities of a Panel Beater

• Inspecting Vehicle Damage:
  • Assess dents, scratches, collision damage, and structural issues.
  • Prepare repair estimates and identify required materials.
• Repairing Vehicle Panels:
  • Remove dents and reshape damaged metal panels.
  • Repair or replace damaged body parts such as doors, fenders, bonnets, and bumpers.
• Welding and Fabrication:
  • Perform welding, cutting, and metal fabrication work as required.
  • Align and fit replacement panels accurately.
• Surface Preparation:
  • Sand, grind, and smooth repaired surfaces.
  • Apply fillers and primers to prepare vehicles for painting.
• Vehicle Alignment:
  • Straighten vehicle frames and body structures using specialized equipment.
  • Ensure body panels are correctly aligned and fitted.

Key Responsibilities of a Vulcanizer

• Inspect Tires:
  • Examine tires for punctures, cuts, wear, and other damages.
  • Assess tire conditions and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Repair Damaged Tires:
  • Patch punctures and repair damaged sections of tires using vulcanizing equipment and materials.
  • Ensure repairs meet safety standards.
• Mount and Dismount Tires:
  • Remove worn or damaged tires from vehicle rims.
  • Install new or repaired tires on rims.
• Wheel Balancing and Alignment Support:
  • Balance wheels to prevent uneven tire wear and improve vehicle performance.
  • Identify tire issues related to wheel alignment and report them for correction.
• Tire Inflation and Pressure Checks:
  • Check and maintain correct tire pressure according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect valve stems and replace faulty valves when necessary.
