We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Location: Gujeni Village, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of industrial relations, employee engagement, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full spectrum of Human Resources operations for the business unit.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage industrial relations and maintain positive relationships with employees, unions, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession planning, and employee retention initiatives.
  • Oversee performance management, learning and development, and organizational development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve productivity, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Prepare HR reports, analytics, and workforce insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Industrial Relations, labour law, collective bargaining, disciplinary processes, and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large workforces in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to partner effectively with operational leaders.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound decision-making ability.
