Job Title: Linesman
Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

About the Role
- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in aerial deployment of fiber optic cables and maintenance of overhead telecom lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain aerial fiber optic and copper cables using climbing gear or bucket trucks.
- Troubleshoot and repair overhead telecom lines.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSSE) standards while working at heights.
- Keep accurate records of daily work activities and submit timely reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, splicers, and project supervisors for seamless network delivery.
- Maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aerial fiber deployment or related fieldwork.
- Skilled in using climbing gear (body belts, hooks) and working on poles.
- Good understanding of safety protocols and electrical clearance.
- Physically fit and able to work in challenging weather and terrain.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Technical diploma or trade certification in telecoms or a related field is an advantage.
