Job Title: Cake Decorator / Baker

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Cake Decorator / Baker to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and finishing cakes and other baked goods to the highest quality standards.
• The role requires a passion for baking, artistic creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Baking:

• Prepare and bake cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, and other baked products according to established recipes.
• Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.
• Ensure products meet company quality standards before display or delivery.

Cake Decoration:

• Decorate cakes using buttercream, fondant, royal icing, ganache, and other finishing techniques.
• Create custom cake designs based on customer specifications and event themes.
• Pipe borders, flowers, lettering, and decorative elements with precision.
• Maintain consistency in design, presentation, and finishing.

Product Quality:

• Ensure all baked goods are fresh, visually appealing, and meet quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
• Minimize product waste through efficient production planning.

Kitchen Operations:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic baking workspace.
• Properly operate and maintain bakery equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and report ingredient shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.

Customer Support:

• Collaborate with customer service staff to fulfill special orders.
• Assist with production planning for holidays, events, and peak seasons.
• Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
