Junior Accountant at ICM Energy

ICM Energy is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare financial schedules and reports as requested by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, or ICAN in view) is an added advantage.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems).
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
