Job Description

• The Finance Manager will lead the organisation’s finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to support sustainable growth, profitability, regulatory compliance, and sound decision-making.
• The role is responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, reporting, internal controls, risk management, tax compliance, and leadership of the finance team.

Responsibilties

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements, including FIRS, CBN, SEC, and other relevant authorities where applicable.
• Budgeting, Forecasting & Cost Control: Lead the annual budgeting process, monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, payment schedules, and liquidity planning to ensure smooth business operations.
• Internal Controls & Risk Management: Develop and maintain strong financial controls, identify financial risks, support audit processes, and implement measures to safeguard company assets and prevent financial leakages.
• Tax, Audit & Statutory Obligations: Ensure timely filing and remittance of statutory deductions, taxes, audit requirements, and other financial obligations in accordance with Nigerian laws and company policies.
• Strategic Business Support: Provide financial insights, investment analysis, management reports, and recommendations to guide business planning, expansion decisions, and performance improvement.
• Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, coach, and develop finance team members while promoting accountability, confidentiality, professionalism, and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g.,ICAN, ACCA)
• 5 - 10 years of experience in internal control, audit, or compliance.
• Experience inBanking or Finance is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, risk assessment, and investment strategies.
• Expertise in financial regulations, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.

Salary
N8,000,000 - N10,000,000 annually.
