Job Title: Cement Pump Operator

Location: Bwari, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Cement Pump Operator to handle cement pumping operations on construction sites.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating cement pumps, monitoring equipment during operation, cleaning machinery after use, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up cement pumps correctly at construction sites.
• Inspect the machine and safety components before operation.
• Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure a smooth flow of cement into the pump.
• Monitor pump performance to prevent blockages or equipment faults.
• Clean pumps and pipelines after each operation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Report equipment faults and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of completed jobs.
• Support and guide junior workers on safe pump operation.

Requirements

• WAEC/NECO certificate.
• Valid licence to operate cement pump machines.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience operating cement or concrete pumps.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence (for truck-mounted pumps).
• Pump operation certification is an added advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work on busy construction sites.
• Good knowledge of construction safety procedures and machine handling.

Salary
N120,000 per month
