Job Title: CCTV Operator / Surveillance Officer

Location: Jos, Plateau

Description

• We are looking for a vigilant and responsible CCTV Operator / Surveillance Officer to join our team in Jos, Plateau State
• The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, identifying security risks, reporting incidents, and supporting the safety and security of company personnel and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities and security breaches.
• Observe, record, and report incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Review CCTV footage to support investigations and incident reporting.
• Maintain accurate surveillance logs and prepare daily incident reports.
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report faults for timely maintenance.
• Coordinate with the Security team to ensure prompt response to security incidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of surveillance information and recordings.
• Adhere to company security policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in any relevant discipline.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in CCTV operations, surveillance, or security monitoring.
• Good understanding of CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
• Strong observation, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Candidate:

• Experience using digital CCTV monitoring and video management systems.
• Security or surveillance-related certification is an added advantage.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
