Description

• Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall operations of its polymer manufacturing business.
• The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience within the polymer industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive operational excellence, business growth, and organizational performance while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve the company's business objectives.
• Oversee daily operations across production, finance, sales, supply chain, and administration.
• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor organizational performance and ensure the achievement of key business targets.
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and departmental teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all business functions.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Identify business opportunities, manage risks, and support long-term sustainability of the organization.
• Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, innovation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
• A master’s degree (MBA or related field) will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10–15 years' experience as a General Manager within the polymer manufacturing industry.
• Excellent business acumen with proven commercial and financial management skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong work ethic with a focused, results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead organizational transformation and drive business growth.

Benefits

• Salary: N1,000,000 - N1,500,000 Per Month
