We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Clerk

Location: Sabo Yaba, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day processing of all invoices by ensuring that necessary backup and approvals are obtained in accordance with hotel accounting and financial controls, and within the policies and procedures as outlined in hotel and corporate policies and guidelines, and the hotel’s business plan.
  • Financial reporting and analysis: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets. Conduct financial analysis to assess profitability and provide recommendations.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets and business plans, including projected room revenue.
  • Transaction management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, handle cash handling procedures, and reconcile bank statements.
  • Payroll and taxes: Administer payroll, ensure compliance with tax legislation, and prepare tax returns.
  • Auditing and compliance: Conduct internal audits on financial transactions and operations.Ensure the hotel complies with all financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Cash flow management: Monitor cash flow, chase late payments, and report bad debts.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with a minimum  of 5 years experience.

Salary
N120,000 - N140,000 monthly.
