Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with external publication partners, including newspapers, magazines, industry blogs, and digital media platforms
  • Pitch and frame stories from our internal writers to match the tone and audience of each external partner
  • Negotiate syndication terms, including fees, exclusivity, and publication timelines
  • Maintain a database of publication contacts, including editors, section heads, and commissioning editors
  • Monitor external publications for opportunities to place our content
  • Work closely with the in-house editorial team to understand upcoming stories and identify the best external homes for them
  • Track syndication performance, including reach, engagement, and backlinks
  • Provide regular reports on syndication activity and outcomes

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in syndication, media partnerships, or editorial placement roles
  • An existing network of editor and publisher contacts across multiple publications, or can build one quickly
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic thinking ability to match stories to the right publications
  • Experience working with remote or distributed editorial teams
  • Comfort with performance tracking and reporting

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the art, luxury, or culture publishing space
  • Knowledge of SEO and backlink strategies
  • Experience with CRM or contact management tools.

Why Join Us

  • Salary: N150,000 monthly.
  • Compensation: Competitive base retainer + performance bonus for successful syndication placements
  • Work on a unique, high-end editorial project with global reach
  • Flexible, remote working environment
