We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to meet business needs.
- Raise and process local purchase orders.
- Monitor market prices and conduct regular cost analyses.
- Manage supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.
- Negotiate favourable pricing and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Develop sourcing strategies and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities.
- Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of local procurement markets.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience monitoring market prices and supplier performance.
- Previous procurement experience is highly desirable.
