Job Title: Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide technical leadership for rotating equipment on a long-term FPSO maintenance contract.
  • This role provides second-line technical support to offshore operations, driving equipment reliability, performance, and operational excellence across critical production assets.

Requirements
Essential:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree 
  • Chartered or COREN registered.
  • Fifteen years, substantially on offshore production facilities. FPSO preferred.
  • Centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, seal gas, lube oil, dry gas seals, turbines, pumps, generators, cranes.
  • Condition monitoring and vibration analysis — able to read the data, not just receive the report.
  • Root cause failure analysis, and the standing to take a finding to an OEM and hold it.
  • Static equipment, pressure vessels, piping and valves as a secondary strength.
  • BOSIET and offshore medical, or willing to obtain. Available to mobilise at short notice.
  • English essential. French and West Africa regional experience a strong advantage.
  • OEM background — Siemens, Solar, Baker Hughes, Atlas Copco. Reliability-centred maintenance and criticality assessment is an advantage
